Ella's First Thanksgiving

Well this year for Thanksgiving we had everyone at our house. It is the first time since we have been married that we have hosted Thanksgiving (it's the first time that we've had room for everybody!) We had my parents, my grandfater came from Junction and we had Chad's brothers, our sister-in-law and our 2 nephews join us. Ella's first Thanksgiving was wonderful and she was happy and content in her swing while we all ate lunch.

I grew up in a small family and our Thanksgiving's while wonderful were always small and I was always the youngest. It was fun to have a house full of people and little ones running around. There was no shortage of arms or laps for Ella. Nate and Chance pretty much kept her entertained the entire day and she was wiped out by bedtime. She slept in until 9:30 on Friday morning!

We spent Friday cutting and loading fire wood in the cold weather and then spent the afternoon by the fire after visiting Ella's great-grandparents in Winchell. While the weather was cold and rainy it sure made it feel like the holidays.

I'm getting the itch to decorate for Christmas...it's time to start getting ready for Ella's First Christmas!
