Ella survived her First Halloween. Of course it was more for our pleasure than hers this year - and did we have a good time! Ella was the cutest little pony around - she was quite the hit. We walked to our church, we had Trunk or Treat in the parking lot. We met up with our cousins Ryan and Mandy and thier son Jack who is 26 days older than Ella. Little Jack was dressed as a Pea Pod and a cute one at that - although by the end of the evening he was hardly impressed with all of the hub bub going on. Ella slept thru a lot of the little Trick or Treaters, when she was awake she was trying to figure out what the heck was going on around her - such commotion.Mandy brought Landry and Cobe up to the church so that we could take pictures - Landry was the cutest Zoo Keeper that you have ever seen (her idea) and Cobe was a monkey on the loose. I've called him monkey ever since I can remember - at one point all that he would eat was bananas...so of course the costume was fitting.
We took our little pony on a quick tour around the neighborhood before heading up to the church and all of the neigh(bors) {sorry couldn't resist} loved her. I am so thankful that we are in a great neighborhood - it reminds me a lot of the one that I grew up in with lots of sets of "grandparents" keeping watch and waiting to spoil at any given moment.
