On Sunday when I unpacked all of the things from the baby shower. Ella always being one to help was right there. She had her new baby and we quickly found him a blanket and bib in some of baby brother’s things.
She just sat in her rocking chair in the nursery and rocked and soothed him. Patted his back, and quieted him by telling him “SSSSHHHH, don’t cry.”
It was quite the scene she had on a big t-shirt, silky boxer shorts and her cowboy boots (on the wrong feet).
I loved watching her love on that baby…even if he does sleep with his eyes wide open.
All momma’s know that sometimes they have to stop what they are doing and love on those babies – boots on the wrong feet or not.
