I actually ran into this group back when they were big in I believe it was 1989. I lived in New York City and my apt building was right next to a really nice but small hotel. Libby (a friend of mine) and I were walking back to our apt when we noticed this huge crowd of young girls in front of the hotel next to our apt. and we saw Donnie Walburg signing autographs. My friend Libby (who didn't know who they were and was puzzled by the crowd) said "Wow, this is crazy!" And Donnie apparently heard her and looked up with this expression on his face like he thought it was crazy too and said something like "I know, it is, isn't it?" He seemed a bit embarrassed by the frenzy.
Anyway, that's my brush with the NKOTB!
I AM SO JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHH!! I have a gf in Ohio who went and said it was amazing. We keep hearing they are going to add Indiana to their list but it hasn't happened yet. PLEASE let me know when you post pictures and I'll keep checking in. :)
