60 Years

Chad, Ella and I went down to Junction a couple of weekends ago to attend a ceremony for my grandfather who was getting his 60 year Mason pin.

We met Mom & Dad at Babo's house Saturday afternoon and then we all drove out to Ft. McKavett for the festivities.

We had BBQ and then we enjoyed the ceremony. My mom got to pin Babo's pin on him and he even made a little speech - rare from a man who is usually quiet and just sits back and takes it all in.

I love that we all got to be there for that and for him. It's a big deal and we were all glad to get to be a part of it.
